ASDA’s free from range has come on leaps and bounds in recent years, and on my last visit to the supermarket I was positively ecstatic (yes, I am easily pleased) to find gluten free pepperoni pizza and gluten free garlic bread! Amazing.
As you can imagine I was then positively beside myself when it came to actually eating these two masterpieces, so it could have been a terribly disappointing experience. But it wasn’t.
The pizza was as good as any gluten-full pizza I can remember, in fact the wheat-loving boyfriend actually thought it had a better texture than the normal stodgy ones he buys.
And the garlic bread? Well, if it’s possible, that was even better. Just like the garlic bread I remember, in massive pizza style shape. You could easily get four or more servings out of one packet, but we are very greedy as you can see…
Gluten Free: Of course, full marks ASDA!
