Some people LOVE lego. Some people love lego so much that they’ve started using it to do actual building work. It’s all part of some fantastical idea by a German artist, Jan Vormann. He’s spent the past three years travelling the world repairing crumbling walls and monuments with Lego. And now he’s getting other people to do the same.

The Leake Street Graffiti Tunnel, Southbank

One of London’s few ‘legal’ graffiti areas, The Leake Street Graffiti Tunnel is also known as ‘The Banksy Tunnel’ because that very same cloak and dagger chap got it its legal status when he chose it as the setting for his 2008 ‘Cans Festival’.

London Ice Sculpting Festival 2014, Canary Wharf

Artists have come from all over the world to battle it out in London’s annual ice sculpting competition, which ends this evening with the winner being announced at Wood Wharf at 5pm.
